Mark Elliot
Mark Eliott is a contemporary artist who works in flame-worked glass and incorporates a variety of media such as music, stop-motion animation, performance, and wood carving. One of his recurring themes is the exploration of narratives through mythology and story-telling, dancing the line between improvisation and structure. Mark completed a Masters of Visual Arts & Studio Arts at the Sydney College of the Arts, as well as an Associate Diploma in Jazz Studies (Saxophone) at Sydney Conservatorium. His work can be located in many private and public collections including the Corning Museum of Glass. In 2019, he won the highly respected Tom Malone Glass Prize. Mark also teaches flame-work and provides interactive demonstrations.
